The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.
Dear Ones: Afresh Each Morning! There is a term we use today: “do over.” It is defined this way: a new attempt or opportunity to do something after a previous attempt has been unsuccessful or unsatisfactory. This verse tells us that the mercies of the Lord begin afresh each morning. It is essentially a “do over.” A chance to start the new day free of the missteps of yesterday.
The faithful love of the Lord is always offering a fresh start to our day, if we call on Him believing His mercies never cease. He is faithful to keep His promises. First Thessalonians 5:24a, NKJV, confirms to us that, “He who calls you is faithful.” Since His faithfulness never ends, then His mercies are extended to us each day.
As we enter into this new year (2025), let us be determined to ask for His mercies every morning. He will surely extend to us His grace for the day’s challenges. We do not know what lies ahead each morning, but He certainly knows and is willing to give us all the grace and mercy we will need.
Declaration: “Father, I gratefully seek and accept your mercies that begin afresh each morning. I am comforted by Your great faithful heart and trust in Your goodness toward me, my family, and my nation. I thank you that You are gracious to give me a “do over” each morning.
