Your Place of Safety

The everlasting God is your place of safety, and his arms will hold you up forever. He will force your enemy out ahead of you, saying, ‘Destroy the enemy!’
Author Deuteronomy 33:27 (NCV)Name

Dear Ones: Your Place of Safety! His arms are not too short to save you from anything that the enemy throws at you. He is the Almighty God, your place of safety and your strong tower of refuge. If we are mindful of these truths, then the lying thoughts of the deceiver will fail to affect you. Proverbs 18:10 (AMP) confirms to us, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous runs to it and is safe and set on high [far above evil].”

We are instructed to call upon the Name of the Lord just like David did. However, when we call upon Him, we must believe and trust that He hears us and will defend us. When we pray and end our prayer in the name of the Lord, it is more than just the closing of a letter. It is to be an affirmation of Him being our place of safety. When we pray in His name we are declaring from His position of authority in heavenly places. We are children of the Most High God in Christ and have access to all the resources of His Kingdom.

It is a good day to plant this verse deeply into the soil or your heart. His everlasting arms are the ones that hold you close to His chest. During times of troubles and stress learn to rest in His arms. He is your strong tower so run to Him.

May you dwell in your place of safety in His everlasting arms. Know that He will drive out your enemy. Follow David’s example and call on His name knowing that His love for you is everlasting. Rest in His arms today. I bless you in Jesus’ name.

  1. naturally like your web-site but you need to check the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Many of them are rife with spelling issues and I find it very troublesome to tell the truth nevertheless I’ll surely come back again.
