37 And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. 38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” 39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.
Dear Ones: Peace be Still! These words uttered by the Master calmed the storm and saved those in the boat. When we cry out to the Lord in the midst of the chaos and stormy environment that we find ourselves in, He answers. He does what is naturally impossible. He takes authority over the tumult and chaos and brings us PEACE. Yes, Peace in the midst of the storms.
This is wonderful news, but did you know that we have been given the right to exercise His authority? Luke 10:19 reveals this to us, “19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” In a sense, He has given us the power of attorney to enforce His authority over all that the enemy throws at us. In the middle of a raging storm, the power to bring peace, calm, and victory dwells in us. The Master tells us in Luke 8:50, “Do not be afraid; only believe.”
May the words, “peace be still,” give you boldness as you meditate on them today and all weekend. Recognize the presence of the Lord dwelling in you, like the disciples recognized the Master in their boat. Know that the Lord of Glory has given you the authority to trample on the dark ones that trouble you, your family and your nation. It is a good day to be an overcomer in Him. I bless you in Jesus’ name.

obviously like your web site however you have to take a look at the spelling on several of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling issues and I find it very bothersome to inform the truth however I will surely come back again.

Sometimes mis-spelling slip by, but I do try to review and edit. There is quite a difference between the American version of English and the English version. I thank you for reading the blogs and for giving me the grace about the spelling. Blessings in Jesus’ name.

Thank you for the sensible critique. Me and my neighbor were just preparing to do some research about this. We got a grab a book from our area library but I think I learned more clear from this post. I am very glad to see such excellent information being shared freely out there.
