Blessed is She Who Believed

Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.
Luke 1:45

Dear One: Blessed is she who believed! These are the prophetic words uttered by Elizabeth when Mary came to visit. The promise is for everyone who will choose with their freewill to believe the Word of God and the promises it contains. Some of the promises are conditional as revealed in John 14:21, MSG. “The person who knows my commandments and keeps them, that’s who loves me. And the person who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and make myself plain to him.”

In these challenging times, the Lord desires to reveal Himself to us as our Provider, our Defender, and our Strong Tower. Proverbs 18:10 tells us, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.” Plant the words of His promises in your heart and believe them. Comfort yourself by rehearsing them in your ears even as David encouraged himself in the Lord when Ziklag was raided and burned. Follow Mary’s example and believe that the Lord is able to fulfill His promises to you.

May you grasp the words, “blessed is she who believed,” and make them your own. Replace the “she” with your name and make it personal. There is truly nothing too hard for the Lord to do; you just need to believe it. He will take care of your situation His way, in His timing, and for your benefit. Have an overcoming day. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
