Wonderful Deeds

O Lord my God, you have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them.

Psalm 40:5 (NLT)

Dear Ones: Wonderful Deeds! Stop and think about it. As Christians, we can testify of the wonderful deeds the Lord has done for us. If you have a job, food on the table, children you love and who love you, then you are truly blessed. Does all of this come without issues or problems? NO. But the Lord is with you and there is nothing too difficult for Him to accomplish in you and through you.

Sometimes we have a distorted perspective of what a wonderful deed is. We may think of a magic act or even the pillar of fire that warmed the Israelites in the desert. But there are wonderful deeds of the Lord that occur for us every day. Sometimes, just getting safely home in horrendous traffic can be one of them. When the hand of the Lord shows up, then something good happens. Avoiding traffic accidents, finding that perfect dress, catching a once in a lifetime size fish, finding a new and better job can all be part of the wonderful deeds the Lord releases to us in our lives. We just need to remember or recite them to ourselves. This act will encourage our faith and defeat the purposes of the dark one and his minions.

May the wonderful deeds He has done in your life come flooding back. Make a joyful sound to celebrate what He has done. Let your expectations arise knowing that He is not finished showering them down upon you and yours. Have a wonder filled day as you walk with Him. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
