To all who are in Rome [Mobile, Alabama], beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. [My added words]
Dear Ones: I send this greeting to you today even as Paul sent it to the Roman believers. Paul often used this type of greeting in his epistles to the Church. He knew it was important to release the grace and the peace of God to those who would read his words. Yes, that includes us and all the other brethren who have read his epistles over time.
Grace is God’s enabling power to know and to do HIS will. HIS peace is a companion of Grace. We are instructed not to be anxious in all our affairs and works. HIS Grace is available to you, ask for it. HIS peace will guard your hearts even in the most stressful situations. Go to HIS table and fill up on HIS Grace and Peace, like you would go to a buffet in the natural. There is no limit, so go back for more and more as the need arises.
May HIS Grace and Peace comfort and enable you to be the overcomer that you are in HIM, today. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
