Hopeful Thoughts: Jeremiah 17

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord.

Dear Ones: Jeremiah lived in a time when the prophet was persecuted for speaking the Word of God. He was imprisoned by his own people and had to live through the siege of Jerusalem by the Chaldeans. Yet in all of this, he could say that the person who trusted and hoped in the Lord God was blessed. Sometimes we may feel like our troubles and challenges are more than anyone else has endured. But then when you read the Word, you realize that prophets like Jeremiah endured much hardship in much harder times. Even those who are poor in the USA have more than many people in 3rd world countries. Let us consider the blessings we have and allow our Hope to rise up today.

May the blessings of the Lord pour out upon you and yours today because you trust Him. May your Hope arise and bring comfort to your soul. Have an overcoming day. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
