No matter what, I’ll trust in you to help me. Nothing will stop me from praising you to magnify your glory!
Dear Ones: I’ll Trust! Trust is defined as the firm belief in the integrity, ability, or character of a person or thing, confidence or reliance. Here is the rub: Do we trust in the Lord’s integrity? We define integrity as the steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. However, there is no comparison between our human ethical codes of living with that of God’s.
But the evil one constantly bombards us questioning God’s integrity in order to shake our trust in Him. For example, in Genesis 3:4, VOICE, he directly challenges God’s integrity. “Serpent: Die? No, you’ll not die. God is playing games with you.” His lies were meant to shake Eve’s trust in God’s integrity. She was deceived, but Adam was not when he ate the fruit.
I’ll Trust in God’s Integrity
The evil one uses this same tactic against us, every day. He counts on us to be ignorant of the promises of God that every believer in Christ has through His victory over death, hell, and the grave. The Word of God is called a spiritual weapon, and we must learn how to use it, especially when God’s integrity is challenged. Proverbs 3:5-6, NLT, is just one verse to use against the enemy’s deception. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”
Declare: “Lord, I’ll trust You to guide my steps every day. I will not believe the enemy’s lies when he comes to question Your integrity. You are good, merciful, and loving. Thank You for the ability to repent when I falter in trusting You. Your lovingkindness is a shield around my heart. Praise Your holy name.” Have a blessed day as you trust Him with your life.
