Dear Ones: An Everlasting Love! Jeremiah recorded God’s words to His people, Israel. But New Covenant believers are His people too. So, we can take His words for ourselves. God is also known as the Ancient of Days. He is before time and knows everything from the beginning to the end. His lovingkindness toward mankind has never wavered or diminished. He loves each of us individually, not as a corporate act.
An everlasting love was God’s motive behind the creation of mankind and His great salvation plan to redeem mankind back to Himself. First John 4:8b, NKJV, tells us, “for God is love.” There cannot be an expression of true love without God’s involvement. He is love, that is why His love is everlasting.
Because of His everlasting love, God works with us through the wilderness places when and if we stray. Romans 8:32, NLT, confirms the depth of His everlasting love. “Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?” The provisions of the Cross through the Blood of Christ are the greatest example of an everlasting love that can ever be.
Declare: “Father, I truly believe that Your love for me is an everlasting love. With a heart of gratitude and praise, I thank You for the Cross and all the benefits given to me because of this great love sacrifice. Help me to walk worthy of such great love and to spread Your love to others in my sphere of influence. Praise Your holy name.” Have a blessed and love filled day in Jesus’ name.
