But you’ll welcome us with open arms when we run for cover to you. Let the party last all night! Stand guard over our celebration. You are famous, God, for welcoming God-seekers, for decking us out in delight.
Dear Ones: With Open Arms! The Lord welcomes us when we go to him in times of trouble and need. Then our sorrows and concerns are turned into joy and celebration. He knows how to take what the enemy meant for harm and turn it to favor us.
When we go to Him believing He is willing and able to help us, then He greets us with open arms. Our good, good Father always looks for ways to shower blessings upon us. He is not the taskmaster who judges harshly and unfairly.
Our holy God knows us better than we know our own hearts. He never lowers the bar of His standard of holiness. But He reaches over the bar and raises us up and over it for His mercies endures forever. He receives us as we are, so, we should never fear going to Him. Hebrews 4:16, NKJV, confirms, “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
Declare: “Father, when I come to You, I know You welcome me with open arms. I cherish our times in the secret place where I learn about your goodness and mercy. Today, I bring all my concerns and sorrows and leave them in Your hands. I know You can turn things around for me, my family, and my nation. Your Goodness overwhelms me as I sit with you. Praise Your holy name.” Have a blessed day as you rest in His loving arms, in Jesus’ name.
