Our bodies are made up of many parts. None of these parts have the same use. There are many people who belong to Christ. And yet, we are one body which is Christ’s. We are all different but we depend on each other.
Dear Ones: One Body! Paul uses the comparison of the natural human body to explain the mystery of the Body of Christ. Just like the natural body, the spiritual Body of Christ has many parts with each part having its own purpose. Every believer is connected to each other by love: Christ’s love for us and in us and our love for Him.
As we mature spiritually, we have to find our place and purpose as part of His body. Every believer has a call and a purpose, so we should not be jealous of another believer’s ministry. That would be like the liver being jealous of the hand. Consider, the body cannot live without the liver, but it can function without a hand. Therefore, the hidden ones and their ministries are not irrelevant in the Kingdom of the Lord. One body joined by the love of Christ in unity is how the power of the Kingdom is to be manifested. That is why the evil ones work so hard at sowing disunity, dissension, and chaos.
Declare: “Lord, show me my place and purpose in Your body: One body joined in love of You. Teach me how to love the brethren, because you commanded us to love one another. Thank You for calling me and my family into Your body. I celebrate Your goodness. Praise the Lord!!” Have a blessed day in Jesus’ name.
