One Body One New Man video
In this lesson we finish our study of Philadelphia and Smyrna by considering the meaning of One Body One New Man. The Body of Christ is called to be set apart from the cultural norms of secular society. We are the called-out ones who are to be an expression of the Living Christ within us. (See Ephesians 2:14-18.) Here is an excerpt from the video transcript to encourage you to watch the video.
Is your heart (inner man) ready and anxious to respond to the deeper relationship that the Spirit desires to have with the Church through each member of the Body of Christ? It is time to consider what we have learned and how it has affected our spiritual heart condition. We do not want to miss the hour of our visitation like the Jews who rejected their Messiah at His first coming. We want to be His witnesses that bear His hallmark so the world will see Him revealed through us. We want to learn how to become “one body” in Christ fulfilling our calling and helping others to fulfill theirs. We want to emulate the believers of Philadelphia and Smyrna so that we can hear the Lord say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
