The Lord will show the nations of the world his justice; all will praise him. His righteousness shall be like a budding tree, or like a garden in early spring, full of young plants springing up everywhere.
Dear Ones: A Garden in Early Spring! This marvelous chapter begins with the revelation of Messiah’s mission to set the captives free and ends with this verse. Messiah’s work culminates in bringing new life to all nations. The visual imagery we are given is like the new growth we see in a garden in early spring.
This is wonderful news! We have grown weary in these troublous times. It will be like the breath of springtime when justice and righteousness are restored throughout the nations. However, unlike the changing of the seasons, we have a responsibility to enforce His victory over the forces of darkness. The Master gives us the authority to enforce His victory in Luke 10:19, KJV. “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Then in Luke 19:13, KJV, He orders His servants to, “Occupy till I come.” Occupy in this verse means to carry on the Messiah’s business or mission that was revealed in Isaiah 61.
Plant Seeds in early Spring
When we see the budding trees and new growth springing forth this spring, praise Him for the restoration of righteousness and justice in the land. A garden in early spring is filled with promises of a great crop. The seeds planted will bear good fruit. Yes, just like the seeds of prayers sown by the praying saints.
Declare: “Like a garden in early spring, I have planted seeds of righteousness and justice with my prayers. I expect a great harvest to benefit all I have lifted up with my prayers and declarations. A new season filled with answered prayers is spring forth for me, my family, and my nation. With a heart of gratitude, I praise the Lord!” Have a blessed and fruit-filled day in Jesus’ name.
