Purim 2025
The king’s decree gave the Jews in every city authority to unite to defend their lives. They were allowed to kill, slaughter, and annihilate anyone of any nationality or province who might attack them or their children and wives, and to take the property of their enemies.
Dear Ones: Purim! Is a Jewish celebration that gave them victory over their enemies who wanted to destroy them: men, women, and children. Next week (March 13-14) are the dates for this year’s celebration. Why is Purim so important? First, the entire Jewish population in Chaldea could have been wiped out. These are the ones who returned to the land and carried the bloodline of Messiah.
Secondly, we have a witness of how the Lord works through government officials to restore justice and righteousness in a nation that has gone astray. Haman was an evil advisor to the king and threw lots (pur) to decide when the antisemites could legally destroy the Jews and take their property. But God foresaw these evil plans and had placed Esther and Mordecai in specific positions. Through their actions the Jews were allowed to defend themselves and win a victory.
Today, we are seeing the uncovering of many politicos and government appointees who are working against regular Americans. The enemy wants us to be depressed and despair over the depth of the corruption. This corruption appears to be undefeatable. BUT the celebration of Purim comes to encourage us that God is more than able to flip the script and give us great success against the corruption.
Declare: “Let the week of Purim (2025) release the Spirit of the Lord to defeat the corrupt ones. Rise up, Lord, and scatter the enemy of Your Republic. Restore her back to you and bless her with peace and prosperity. I know You are able to take care of Your children no matter what my circumstances are at the moment. Praise Your holy name.” I bless you in Jesus’ name.
