Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done.
Dear Ones: Proclaim His Greatness! In 1828 Mr. Webster defined gratitude in this way. “An emotion of the heart, excited by a favor or benefit received; a sentiment of kindness or good will towards a benefactor; thankfulness. Gratitude is an agreeable emotion, consisting in or accompanied with good will to a benefactor, and a disposition to make a suitable return of benefits or services, or when no return can be made, with a desire to see the benefactor prosperous and happy. Gratitude is a virtue of the highest excellence, as it implies a feeling and generous heart, and a proper sense of duty. The love of God is the sublimest gratitude.”
The Thanksgiving holiday came from the tradition of the colonists to thank God for His gracious provision through a good harvest. They shared the bounty of their labor with others and the Indians who helped them. Harmony and peace prevailed as their hearts of gratitude were openly displayed for all to see.
Let us remember the roots of this day. Many times in our nation’s history, days of prayer and thanksgiving were proclaimed in honor of the blessings we received. As we thank Him we in turn proclaim His greatness openly and unashamedly. We certainly have much to be thankful for.
Declaration: “With a heart of gratitude, I proclaim His greatness and faithfulness to me. I look with eyes of faith to see His plans unfolding to give me, my family, and my nation hope in a good future. Many times, in the psalms it tells us to give thanks to the Lord for His mercy endures forever. Thank You, Lord, for the overflowing blessings coming toward me in this hour. Praise the Lord!” Have a blessed and safe holiday. Happy Thanksgiving.

I’ve been browsing on-line more than 3 hours as of late, but I by no means found any fascinating article like yours. It’s pretty worth sufficient for me. In my opinion, if all web owners and bloggers made good content material as you probably did, the internet will likely be a lot more useful than ever before.
