You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.
Dear Ones: The Lord is with You! Judah was set to engage an enemy force comprised of 3 nations. They were outnumbered. So, Jehoshaphat, the king, called for prayer and fasting for all the people, not just the army. The Lord God answered them through a prophetic word to assure them that He was with them: all the way to victory.
We must remember that Judah operated under the Old Covenant. But Hebrews 8:6, NLT, tells us, “But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises.” Christians operate under a far better covenant with the Father, so, we can expect greater outcomes than what Jehoshaphat could.
If we position ourselves to stand on the Rock of our salvation, we will see the hand of the Lord fight for us. He will send confusion into the camp of those who are aligned against us be they individuals or sicknesses and diseases. The glory of His manifest presence will drive out the enemy if we will dare to believe His word that we have a better covenant in Christ.
Declaration: “I believe the word that the Lord is with you. I am one of the “you’s” as a believer in Christ. There is no weapon or enemy attack that can succeed against me. For my hope is in the Champion of Heaven, Who is undefeated in battle with the dark one. I am an overcomer because He is with me.” Have a victorious day. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
