and once for all took blood into that inner room, the Holy of Holies, and sprinkled it on the mercy seat; but it was not the blood of goats and calves. No, he took his own blood, and with it he, by himself, made sure of our eternal salvation.
Dear Ones: His Own Blood! The Lord sprinkled His own Blood on the mercy seat in heaven to insure our eternal salvation. Years ago, when I was meditating on this verse, the Holy Spirit asked me a question. “Is the Blood on the mercy seat dried?” I was taken off guard and had to consider the question carefully. Then I heard, “No, IT is Living Blood because your Savior is alive. The Blood does not lose Its power or Its vitality!”
Well, that is something to consider. The Blood is alive to everyone who accepts Christ as their Savior. Every day people are being saved by the revelation of the work of the Cross. We are told that we are overcomers by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. The overcoming power of the Blood lives in us. His Blood has a voice that calls for mercy as we are told in Hebrews 12:24, VOICE. “You have come to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant between God and humanity, and to His sprinkled blood, which speaks a greater word than the blood of Abel crying out from the earth.”
Remember, that He sprinkled His own Blood on the mercy in the heavenly throne room of the Father. He Blood continually seeks mercy to be shown to you and yours. Rejoice in the revelation that His Blood is fresh and alive speaking good things over you. Enjoy the fullness of your inheritance in the Cross today. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
