Survive in Tight Situations

12 I know how to survive in tight situations, and I know how to enjoy having plenty. In fact, I have learned how to face any circumstances: fed or hungry, with or without. 13 I can be content in any and every situation through the Anointed One who is my power and strength.
Philippians 4:12-13 (VOICE)

Dear Ones: Survive in Tight Situations! This is Paul’s testimony to the church at Philippi. Paul was shipwrecked, beaten and stoned for preaching the Gospel of Christ. But in all of this, he survived and spiritually prospered because the Lord Jesus was his power and strength.

Let us use Paul’s testimony to encourage us today. The enemy is on a rampage in this hour trying to discourage us and steal our joy. Joy is not merely being happy. It is a glorious and triumphant state of mind knowing that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

When Nehemiah was encouraging the remnant who were rebuilding the wall, he comforted them in Nehemiah 8:10b, NKJV, with these words. “Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” When we know that the Lord is on our side working things out to prosper us even as our souls prosper, then we are assured to survive in tight situations. He is the God of the Breakthrough and He has promised to give us a hope and a good future.

Declare today that you will survive in tight situations because God is with you. You are enabled by His glorious presence to all things because He is your power and strength. Let His joy bubble up in you today. Enjoy being His child. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
