Dull with Deafness

Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened at all, that it cannot save, nor His ear dull with deafness, that it cannot hear.
Isaiah 59:1 (AMPC)

Dear Ones: Dull with Deafness! The lying voice of the enemy comes to accuse the Lord of not hearing your prayers, declarations, or cries in the night hours. He lies telling you that the Lord’s ears are dull with deafness. When you hear such things, remember this verse spoken to Isaiah by the Lord God. Even in Isaiah’s day, the accuser was bringing railing accusations about the Lord’s words of promise He gave to Israel. His tactics have not changed: he accuses us before the Lord God and accuses the Lord of indifference to us.

The Ancient of Days never ages nor is He afflicted with any disease that came with the fall of man. God is not a man or subject to the frailties of mankind that came after the fall. His strength never fails, and His wisdom never diminishes. Psalm 62:11, NLT, tells us, “God has spoken plainly, and I have heard it many times: Power, O God, belongs to you.” The hand of the Lord is powerful; the enemy cannot escape His reach. Behold, He extends His long arm of deliverance to you: to help you, to heal you, and to save you from the destroyer.

Do not believe the lying voice of tormentor who says that the Lord’s ears are dull with deafness. Believe His Words truthfully recorded by Isaiah. The Lord is able—more than able—to help you in your times of need. He tuned His ears to the sound of your voice. Yes, even as a parent listens for a baby’s cry in the night. You are precious in His sight, and you bring Him great delight. Be confident that He hears you. Listen for His voice to answer your call. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
