He Leads Me

He did not take away the pillar of cloud by day or the pillar of fire by night from before the people. … He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.
Exodus 13:22; Psalm 23:3

Dear Ones: He Leads Me! It has been God’s way from the beginning to provide a pathway for mankind to follow and return to Him. Even when Israel sinned and wandered in the wilderness, He stayed with them and led them. Yes, what a remarkable way to lead with a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night! All of the people in the vicinity around Israel’s camp saw the spectacle. They knew that the God of Israel was real and powerful. He made a way through the wilderness and did it openly so all could see His glory. David also sang about the way the Lord led him on the path of righteousness.

Therefore, let us consider these things for our God changes not. He does not forsake those who call upon Him and receive His Son as Lord of their lives. He is the ultimate trailblazer. If the way ahead seems too awesome to proceed, then believe He has already laid the path for you to follow. He has marked the way and commissioned angels to accompany you. If obstacles arise, then He will make the crooked places straight and the mountains into plains. If He calls and appoints you to a mission, then He will go with you and see you through to victory.

May your motto for this hour be, “He Leads Me!” Look at Israel’s example. Learn from David’s testimony. Believe that what He has set before is important to Him because you are important to Him. You are an overcomer and walk in the paths of His righteousness. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
